Ever since Dave lived and worked in Nicaragua after the devastating earthquake in 1972, he has believed in the power of communities coming together. He joined the Great Lakes Urban board in 2019 because he sees the same commitment to people and building relationships that he saw in Nicaragua so many years ago.

As a managing partner at Ideal Life Financial, he assists families and small businesses in accumulating, preserving, and distributing wealth. His guidance helps Great Lakes Urban make smart choices about strategically using the generous donations of our supporters, so we can sustainably accomplish our goals.
